Physician Perspectives – Selected Doctors and Testimonials

This Online Job Tour was produced and is continually updated to be more comprehensive than a real interview trip, which is limited by time and resources, separates spouses and often does not include extended family members. Your decision is challenging enough – getting all the information you need and being able to share it, should be easy!

  • Share this Online Job Tour with your family and friends on Facebook® or LinkedIn®!
  • Remember, how a hospital recruits you is how they will recruit for you. One day you will be in a position to expand, or we may need to recruit another physician to support you. Shouldn’t prospective physicians who may join or support your career be recruited as comprehensively and with such detail as how we work with you?

We want you to know no matter where you decide to practice, it is our sincere pleasure to meet you and share our hospital, our lives, and our service area with you. Thank you for considering Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.

“As a recent jobseeker, my wife and I liked the newness of the hospital (1999), the quality of people, the location, the community, and the local schools and college. We knew this is the kind of place that quickly becomes someone’s ‘hometown.’ The medical community is friendly, Hartsville’s location is great, and importantly, all of my initial hopes and expectations have proven to be true with no negative surprises.” – David Wiley, MD

“I chose Hartsville over practice opportunities in Greensboro, NC, Wilmington, NC, and Greenville, SC…. Hartsville has a first run movie theater, the college, a bustling little Downtown, the schools are continually growing impressively, and you can’t beat our location to larger cities and the beach. When we examined it carefully making my career choice, Hartsville had almost everything the bigger cities had, but it is more charming and manageable for us. We perceived life to be easier here, less expensive, and an ideal fit for our family.” – Jason Dameron, MD
